Walton Goggins loves meeting his Fallout fans

Meanwhile Fallout: fans eagerly await the second season of Prime Video’s post-apocalyptic adventure, its creators and stars are still riding high on the success of the video game adaptation’s first season. Walton Gogginswho is playing the wolf (born Hollywood cowboy Cooper Howard), is no stranger to fan meetings, with a long career that includes Justified, The Righteous Gemstones, Ant Man and the Waspand much more Fallout: fans who immediately embraced his nuclear outlaw persona are special.

Speaking Entertainment WeeklyGoggins recounted the moment, while on vacation with her family, when she realized how much of an impact she had made. Fallout:and Ghoul had prepared with a global audience. “I’ve been lucky enough to stop in front of the public for more than one thing. Then, all of a sudden, people were talking Fallout: more than anything else… There was a moment when I was walking down the street in Istanbul with my wife and son, and through a neighborhood someone from Iraq who was there on vacation came over, someone from Syria came over, and we had a glass of wine in a restaurant after drinking, we were walking and eating baklava, then there were these three meetings, one after the other. We all looked at each other with such love in our hearts and talked for a long time.”

The performance had a special meaning for the veteran actor. “We’ve done something that’s spreading across countries. It’s breaking down those barriers and becoming something that people are sharing at this point in my life. I’m grateful to be a part of it.”

In the same Entertainment Weekly profile, Fallout: Co-creator Geneva Robertson-Dworet distilled why Ghoul became such a breakout sensation: “People want to see characters do what they do well. That, to me, is the real joy of Ghoul.”

Less enjoyable, according to Goggins, is the makeup required to bring the irradiated character to life. “I’m really scared to go back to that prosthetics,” she told EW, to that end, she posted on Instagram earlier this week given that it’s back in the saddle, yes… in the makeup chair.

Fallout: A second season is currently in production.
