President-elect Trump plans to give investors more access environmental approvals and permits under his authority.
In the Social Truth article, the incoming president announced that those who have made at least $1 billion in the US will be eligible to immediately approve environmental projects.
The methods of where the money should be made are not known.
“Any person or company with sales of ONE BILLION DOLLARS, OR MORE, in the United States of America, will receive expedited approvals and permits, including, but not limited to, all Environmental approvals,” Trump wrote the second. “GET READY TO USE!!!”

The announcement comes just weeks after Trump was rumored to be preparing speeding up the approval process for natural resources and expanding drilling on federal land, according to Reuters.
President Biden has blocked environmental concessions during his time in the White House, such as blocking Trump’s oil and gas lease for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in 2021, and recently suspending the export license for natural gas (LNG). .

Trump, however, is looking at recent policy changes on LNG permits, as well as plans to increase oil and gas sales by offshore drilling, sources familiar with the plans for the change told Reuters.

When on campaign strategy, Trump has vowed to make energy and the environment a priority in his first weeks in office.
“They destroyed your steel mills, they cut your coal operations, they destroyed your oil and gas operations and they sold your manufacturing jobs to China and other foreign countries around the world,” Trump said of the current administration.
