TottenhamThe defense has been decimated by injuries this season and Destiny Udogie is the latest concern after being taken off in the first half of the weekend’s win at St Mary’s Stadium. However, Postecoglou has confirmed that the Italians have a chance to show on Thursday night.

Given that Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Ben Davies and Cristian Romero are all on the sidelines at the moment, Postecoglou could use some good news about Udogie, and options going down the back line.

In addition to that, Rodrigo Bentancur is still missing through suspensionwhile Richarlison, Mikey Moore and Wilson Odobert are all absent as the Spurs team increases dramatically.

Tottenham vs Man Utd predictions (4-2-3-1): Forster; Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence; Bissouma, Sarr; Kulusevski, Maddison, Jr.; Solanke.

Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were absent from the squad for the first game against Man City admitted his desire for “new challenges” as he approaches the exit of the January transfer window. With Man Utd also investigating ‘leaks’ within the dressing roomit will be interesting to see if any part north of London.

Both Mason Mount and Noussair Mazraoui were substituted against Man City due to fitness, with the England midfielder confirmed to miss Thursday. Mazraoui will be reviewed shortly before the start.

Luke Shaw is also out with a hip injury but veteran defender Jonny Evans could return to the fold having been absent since Amorim’s first game.

Man Utd vs Tottenham predictions (3-4-2-1): See; Yoro, Maguire, Martinez; Dalot, Mainoo, Ugarte, Malacia; Amad, Fernandes; Hojlund.

Both teams have been unpredictable in recent weeks and will not have full confidence in themselves even after a good weekend win. Man Utdindeed, they lost 3-0 at home to Spurs earlier this season, but it was accepted under a different regime.

Spurs tend to reserve their best for the so-called ‘big teams’ and have shown their ability to be entertaining on the pitch. Their attacking play can be unstoppable with the likes of Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison and Son Heung-min combining seamlessly – as evidenced by the 5-0 demolition of Southampton.

The firecracker could prove the difference between the two teams, with Tottenham’s desire to pick up a trophy of any description likely to push them past a Man Utd side still under Amorim.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Man Utd
