If: You: Prophecy didn’t quite get into the cultural fervor that Sand dune movies have, or other HBO shows are similar in some way, Game of Thrones— that could be because it’s almost completely full characters that can be very hard to root for.
It is a quality that is needed to drive the story. Although we know where things are going in 10,000 years, the entrenched importance of the Bene Gesserit; Harkonen House pale, creeping power; the decline of emperor Shaddam Tan Corino; The Rise of PaulOral Al Ghaib” Atreides –Prophecy throws us into stormy, uncertain times.
Most importantly, we know ProphecyThe Sisterhood will one day become the Bene Gesserit. But we don’t know how or when that will happen, or who will lead them there. We also don’t know how they will overcome the greatest threat of their existence so far, which is the slippery man. in who appears to be fulfilling the deathbed prophecy left by Raquella, the founder of the Sisterhood 30 years ago.

Her sister and Sisterhood member Tula is much softer on the outside, but she can be manipulated into doing terrible things as well as acting on her worst impulses.
Meanwhile, Corrino, another familiar name, is such an unstable leader that he’s allowed Desmond Hart, a brutal soldier with mysterious gifts, to take the throne at gunpoint the value of using terror as a coercive tactic. Meanwhile, Hart still doesn’t have a scene that doesn’t leave the audience gasping, whether he’s going head to toe. The closest we got to adult versions of the characters came in this week’s “Twice Born,” when Valya, running out of options in the battle with Desmond, began texting Tula, asking her for sisterly support, then. thought better of it.
But was it another manipulation? more ammo as Valya plows through her goal of Sisterhood rule in the Imperium rather than a genuine need for familial love.With only two episodes to go, there’s no telling which Harkone sister will live, die, or betray… or worse, maybe even the character that will elevate the Sisterhood to the Bene Gesserit.We’ll be looking forward to seeing how it plays out.
