The Golden Bachelorette people thought Jordan was hitting on Taylor Dane

Jordan Heller He wasn’t going to let go of his past Taylor Dane affect his relationship with Joan and Asus – even the second one Gold single The cast members thought otherwise.

Jordan, 61, explained during the Tuesday, Dec. 10, episode of “Happy Hour for a graduate” podcast that he “swiped” directly on Taylor on the app — and didn’t know who she was — before the show.

The pair went on one date while visiting Chicago and Taylor lost her phone while they were trying to dodge an “amazing storm”. After the first date, Jordan said the two broke up.

“We exchanged numbers, and then a few months later she texted me and said she was coming back to town or another show, and that was pretty much the end of it until she appeared on The (golden) bachelorette.Jordan said.

When Jordan saw her on his group date with Joanne and other contestants, he recalls thinking, “I was hopeful. I was like, ‘I have to know if she remembers me because it was such a crazy night.'”

Jordan explained that he reached out to the producer and asked to speak to Taylor before she left the stage.

“The audience kind of knew because I kind of tell the story to the audience a little bit, (that) I went on a crazy date with her, and then Joan found out what was going on,” he said. “So I went up and talked to (Taylor) and said, ‘I’m Jordan from Chicago. Do you remember me?’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah, we spent five minutes together.’ That was it.”

Despite the harmless interaction, Jordan said his friend Gold single The suitors speculated that he had another motive for talking to Taylor. “The guys thought maybe I was hitting her. I’m like, ‘I’m not hitting her. I’m there for Joan,'” Jordan said. “I just had to know if she remembered me.”

While Jordan didn’t end up finding the one in Taylor or Joanne, he did spark romantic rumors with The Golden Bachelor alum Leslie Pima earlier this year. (Joan received an offer from Chech Chappell during the finale, which aired in November.)

Jordan, however, set the record straight on the speculation. “She’s great. We talk a lot. I think Leslie is amazing, but we’re mostly just good friends,” he said. “We are not boyfriend, girlfriend.”

As he dips his toe back in the dating pool, Jordan finds out he’s ready joining the potential golden spin-off of bachelor in paradise.

“I would love to. First, I love the beaches. I mean, I’ve always been like, this is the best place. Go up on the beach and you’re doing cocktails more, obviously there are more people to interact with. We’re not fighting for the same person, for both sexes. So I I think it will be fantastic.”
