It’s Gotham a rare pleasant place to live, whether you’re happily married or otherwise, and Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy learn that fun the hard way in their next adventure season. A one-way ticket to Metropolis…just in time for Brainiac’s invasion.Maybe the grass is greener, or it’s just the glow of kryptonite.
Today, Max revealed our first extended look Harley Quinnnext season ahead of its broadcast release next month, giving us an insight Harley and Ivy’s wedded bliss only slightly dampened by the utter chaos they experience as comic book characters living in Gotham City. And so it’s lit by the bright lights of another big city as the duo head towards Metropolis.
of course some The chaos that ensues is Harley and Ivy’s doing (and at least a few of their friends who come to visit their fancy Metropolis pad), but really it’s mostly because Superman’s city is the same kind of chaos. Gotham is a little less dirty and shady. We’ve traded Batman villains for Lex and Lena Luthor, the occasional Apocalyptic drone attack, but at least now we can bond with Lois Lane as well. It’s a fun addition to the show on a premise that allows him to play even more with the DC universe in that endearingly gritty style that we made me love this show throughout its run. weird and wonderful life.
Fingers crossed a Metropolis reset isn’t the last we’ll see of Harley and Ivy’s adventures, but we’re at least looking forward to getting them when Harley Quinn The fifth season of Max premieres on January 16.
