On Day 4 of the third Test in between Australia and India at the Gabba in Brisbane, the Australian captain Pat Cummins he gave special notice to remove India from the circle Nitish Reddy. This wicket came in the 60th over of India’s first innings, when the team was still struggling to get ahead against the strong Australian bowling threat.
The delivery that took Reddy’s wicket was priceless. With India in a dangerous position, Cummins delivered a full length ball that caught its line outside the off stump. Reddy, a little loose in his approach, tried to defend but played away from his body. The ball found the edge of his bat and clipped his off stump on its way to the keeper. Reddy, who had looked solid till then, was frustrated on his return to the field, dismissed for 16 off 61 balls. His knock was limited.

His skillful misses have been a key factor in Australia’s dominance throughout the game.
At the end of Day 4, India found themselves in a difficult position, and theirs scored as they stood at 252 for the loss of 9 wickets in their first innings. They still trailed by 193 runs, while Australia posted a total of 445 in their first innings.
Despite the hurdles, there was a silver lining in India. Jasprit Bumrah (10*) is Akash Deep (27*) showed courage at the crease, successfully making the necessary partnership for the 10th wicket. Together, they were able to stitch an unbeaten 39-run partnership, helping India avoid the follow-on and ensuring that the game is still alive. With the day almost over, play was called off due to poor lighting, which left the Indian cricketers with unfinished business. The disruption, however, gave a little respite to the Indian team, who will be looking to regroup and continue their fight on Day 5.
