Saudi Arabia was officially confirmed by FIFA on Wednesday as the host of the 2034 men’s soccer World Cup, prompting accusations of “sportswashing” by human rights groups. Spain, Portugal and Morocco will jointly host the 2030 World Cup, with Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay each hosting one match.
