According to Daily Mailare willing to accept offers for the 27-year-old due to PSR rules.

Sporting director Paul Mitchell has been asked to improve the club’s finances as well the Magpies are now looking to balance their books by selling their graduates.

Newcastle recently extended the player’s contract and they are on their books until 2026 now. It remains to be seen whether he will find the right fit for him.

Longstaff has been a valuable member of Newcastle’s first team, and the Magpies will need to fill the void he left. They are already deeply lacking in the medium.

Meanwhile, there should be no shortage of clubs interested in signing the player once he becomes available. He is a good player in the Premier League and could be available again for a reasonable fee.

The Daily Mail reports that the player has been approached by several clubs and intermediaries.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Where will Sean Longstaff be?

Longstaff wants to join a competitive club where he can fight for trophies. An exit from Newcastle would be a disappointment for the player, but he has no leverage with a club that wants to move him forward.

Newcastle are hoping to secure European qualification this season and will need to improve in the second half of the campaign. They should look to bring in the right incentives in January. Removing Longstaff could raise funds to bring in their signatures next month.
