Trump’s confidence and understanding of his policies during his press conference this morning is the subject of his famous post-election vacation. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a president who could easily stand up at a press conference and speak and answer questions for 70 minutes, without using a teleprompter? Fearless, reliable and a stickler for his principles. That’s what President Trump performed this morning at Mar-a-Lago. It is an amazing thing to see and it helps to explain the cultural zeitgeist and after the election honeymoon he is enjoying.
He led the way by allowing his business partner Masayoshi Son from Japan’s Softbank fund to pledge $100 billion to invest in America First technology, a sign that people are listening to Mr. under 15% corporate tax.
We already know that Mr. Trump is talking to world leaders, going forward to end the Russia-Ukraine war, or vowing “hell to pay” if he doesn’t get the release of Hamas. Or closing our northern and southern borders to illegal immigration.
TECH LEADERS BEZOS, ZUCKERBERG, COOK, AND PICHAI SEEK FACE TIME WITH TRUMP
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau flew to Mar-a-Lago for dinner two weeks ago. That may have been his last supper because his second in command just resigned due to protests and he has a chance to be approved in his mid-twenties, but let’s wait and see how that plays out.
Today, President Trump repeated his warning of tariffs on Mexico and Canada and the trader Howard Lutnick stood by, in case anyone doubted Trump’s commitment. Trump criticized the Biden administration for not telling the truth about the drone sweeping the US, but told us leadership he knows where he came from, and said that he was not a cruel enemy.
Meanwhile, conservative columnist Ben Domenech believes drones are complying with FAA regulations in an exercise planned by the Pentagon to test new drone systems. Ben points to a release last June that no one seems to have taken notice of. However, there is no reason for Mr. Biden to hide this drone story from the public.
Mr. Trump will defend Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to the Secretary of HHS and is also considering the pardon of New York City Mayor Eric Adams – who was unfairly treated by the Biden Justice Department because the New York mayor says he will. support Trump’s anti-terrorist policies and President Trump added that he needs to look at everything.
He was calm in saying that people will agree with him better in the second term than in the first, because he knows that he will fulfill his big promises, and he respects his responsibility to decide the election.
However, he also said that he could sue the Register of Des Moines – whose crazy poll on the eve of the election showed Harris three points in Iowa, which Trump won by fourteen. He called it tampering with that decision – and he’s dead right.
He criticized Mr. Biden for selling border weapons for five cents on the dollar, knowing he would need them. money and materials to complete the construction of the fort. He called it almost a criminal act. Perhaps the only thing missing was the final decision about delaying the Trump 2.0 tax until next year, but this will be resolved soon.
He’s not afraid to make decisions, Mr. Trump and he’s not afraid to defend those decisions and he’s not afraid to speak clearly and honestly to the American people and that’s why his reforms are so popular, his approval ratings are so high throughout this marriage, and he continues to dominate – what I call – the new American zeitgeist . They are worms.
