Keyshawn Davis vs. Denies Berinchyk Head Fight Is About To End On February 14th

Keyshawn Davis’ fight against WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk is set for February 14 at the Madison Square Garcia Hula Theater in New York. The building has a capacity of 5,600 people.

That’s the place. Keyshawn recently boasted of bringing a crowd of over 11,000 to his final fight against Gustavo Lemos on November 8th at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. This fight being held in a small venue shows that Top Rank wants a lot of attention.

Norfolk is not exactly New York City when it comes to attracting international attention. The downside of this event held in New York is that if Keyshawn fails, as he did in the 2020 Olympics and as he almost did against Nahir Albright, his stock will drop.

Mike Coppinger reports that Top Rank-promoted Keyshawn (12-0, 8 KOs) and Berinchyk (19-0, KOs) are close to having their fight in February.

Berinchyk, the 2012 silver medalist, recently defeated the following fighters:

– Emanuel Navarrete
– Anthony Yigit
– Yvan Mendy

The way Berinchyk coached Navarrete had to upset the Top Rank because they put their big name in, thinking they would win. He was exposed, and now it’s Keyshawn’s turn, and he’s not as big a star as Navarrete.

Professor Eddie Hearn recently said that he wants Berinchyk if he can’t fight between WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson and WBA champion Gervonta Davis in 2025. and Berinchyk.

The Fastest Way to Heaven

Three-time champion Keyshawn, 25, is quickly getting a title shot by his supporters without having to fight anyone who hasn’t been able to win. “Other than that, he shows that he has one ability to get you out of there, but everything else, I’ve seen it before, I’d say. I feel like I’m going to give him his best fight. Me, I feel like I’m his weak point,” said Keyshawn when asked what Gervonta’s weakness is.

Berinchyk is a tough fight for Davis because he is a very talented fighter, having won a 12-round decision over Emanuel Navarrete on May 18. If Keyshawn loses this fight, it will show the mistake of Top Rank in signing him instead of defeating him, Andy Cruz, who beat him repeatedly like a drum in the players .

Eyes On Gervonta
