Although Kramer sympathized with her husband’s point of view, she also noted that shooting these types of scenes is something that comes with the job — and something that most actors don’t particularly enjoy.
“It’s literally the most uncomfortable thing ever,” she stated, noting that the only people usually allowed on set to film these scenes are the actors and sound technicians. “It’s so uncomfortable for the people who do it. And it’s not sexy.”
At the end of the day, Russell said he would agree with Kramer taking on a more NSFW role but doesn’t know “how I’d deal with that.”
