This sauna is made of less expensive hemlock, not cedar, which means you don’t get the same glorious cedar smell you’re used to in more classic saunas it’s still a relaxing place, fragrance-wise, even with all that sweat.
Quick and painless
Unlike traditional saunas that can take a long time to preheat, this infrared model is quick and painless. You press the thermostat buttons inside the door to decide how hot and for how long you want it to run starts to heat up immediately.I usually give the little box at least 20 minutes to warm up to ambient temperature.
The included thermostat goes up to 149 degrees F, but I’ve only been able to get it to about 145 degrees F consistently after 45 minutes of preheating.The timer counts down from 99 minutes, so you can preheat it and then leave it on as long as you like. sit in. There are infrared heating panels behind, on the sides, below and behind your feet to keep the heat relatively even across the body.I found that the floor heat can get a little cool if your feet are directly above the space next to the strip on the wooden floor. but otherwise I was completely sweaty and felt just as warm after a similar time in a traditional sauna.

It’s nice to sit outside under a covered area and sweat it out for a few minutes before heading to my non-gross, non-gym shower.And I can pair with the built-in bluetooth speakers and watch my latest shows or YouTube meditation.
If you, like me, no longer have regular access to a gym sauna and have discovered how much you miss the heat exposure time, there are no options as affordable and easy to install , as it’s very light.) How long it lasts is another matter and time will tell, but it’s been a few months for me.
You can’t share the experience with friends and loved ones, but that’s okay because I use my sauna time at the end of the day to get rid of social interactions. If you want to have a sauna at home, even better larger model or traditional saunawhich of course is also sold by Wayfair.
