The Heisman is awarded annually to the top player in college football. In 2024, Hunter was running alongside him Ashton Genty, Cam Ward and Dillion Gabriel. Hunter was honored as a wide receiver and cornerback for the Colorado Buffaloes.

He even gave Lee a sweet shout out in his acceptance speech.

“I also want to thank my fiancee and my mother. They have was with me “Since the first time I had surgery my freshman year of college,” he gushed at the time. “They never took a step away from all the hard hours, all the hard days, and all the times I didn’t want to wake up and even look at my phone (or) look at football. Lenny was by Hunter’s side when he won the Heisman Trophy, a prestigious honor in college football.
