Pep Guardiola said he was happy with the way his Manchester City team played despite being sent back.
The Premier League champions suffered a 2-0 defeat at Juventus, which dropped them to the bottom 22 of the Champions League.
City dominated most of the game in Turin, but were beaten on both goals.
However, Guardiola has defended his players despite only one win in 10 for the Spaniard.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, he said: “We played well, very well.
“We accept a few things, some changes were made but I am proud of these players.
“They give everything and they tried and now we live in this moment and we believe that we can change the result.
“We had a good chat”

“I know it’s difficult, in the Champions League in Europe. We played very well. Today we did very well, we didn’t lose as many balls as before, we tried, we got into positions.
“Against Italian teams, defend very deep, light. The master of these situations. We play who we are and we have missed results but the performance is there.
“We have two games, we need at least one point.
“If you go to Turin, Paris, our three games that we left were very difficult. You have to accept that. We will turn around, not forgetting that time, appreciating more what we have done in the past, what we will do in the future.”
It seems unlikely that City will now only qualify for the next round of the Champions League.
Instead, they will have to enter the race to finish between 9 and 24.
If they win, they will earn a place in the Last 16 of the competition.
But as Guardiola said, they will also need a point from their games against Paris Saint-Germain and Club Brugge.
