Godzilla’s Crossing Over Marvel to battle it all again!

You know, it wasn’t that long ago that Marvel had one option covers is featured Godzilla vs. the likes of The Avengers and Spider-Man.Toho’s Big Lizard Will duck it out with anyone these days, no matter how big they are.So you won’t be surprised that those covers were a prelude to him actually ruining the days of Marvel’s A-list superheroes.

on thursday Hollywood Reporter opened Godzilla vs. Marvel, The publisher’s first crossover with the character since 1977 Godzilla, King of the Monsters. This new event is a series of one-shots where the King will meet (or team up with) various Marvel heroes from across the decades. he becomes the new Herald of Galactus.While the Four take on the new space dragon, Godzilla and The Silver Surfers must unite to save the planet.

According to Marvel EiC CB Cebulski, the company initially talked to Toho about republishing those older comics, but the talks ultimately made it clear that “both of our teams were excited to do more together. These crossovers came together in direct collaboration with Toho, and we felt the timing was perfect for them on Godzilla’s 70th anniversary.” As noted by Marvel comics/franchise president Dan Buckley, Godzilla has become quite popular recently due to; Godzilla minus one and American-made MonsterVerse movies, so Marvel couldn’t help but be involved, and if this was a hit, Cebulski said Marvel would be more than happy to partner with Toho on more “exciting projects.”

“Kaiju, and Godzilla in particular, are important parts of Marvel’s comic history, so we knew we wanted to explore something with their teams,” Buckley said A perfect example of what the comics industry can do. We’re focused on stories first, but the fun possibilities of crossovers like this give both of our fans a fun escape they won’t want to miss.”

Godzilla vs the Fantastic Four Things will start in March 2025. Future issues and their creators will be revealed later.
