Georgian opposition leader arrested after another night of pro-EU demonstrations

Georgian police arrested prominent opposition leader Zurab Japaridze early Monday after using water cannons and tear gas to disperse anti-government protesters who gathered outside parliament for a fourth straight night. The country’s interior ministry said 21 police officers were injured during the crackdown on the demonstrations.
