Mangione is suspected of shooting and killing Thompson outside the entrance to the Hilton Midtown New York hotel in New York on Wednesday, December 4. After a five-day manhunt, Mangione was arrested in Pennsylvania on Monday, December 9, while eating at a McDonald’s in Alton, Pennsylvania.
