An Italian journalist has been detained in Iran for more than a week, the Italian government said Friday, calling Cecilia Clara’s arrest “unacceptable.” Cecilia Sala, 29, who works for Il Foglio newspaper and podcast company Chora Media, is being held in solitary confinement in Tehran’s notorious Evin prison, according to her employer.
