Cristiano Ronaldo says Amorim is not a problem at Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo has said that the problem at Manchester United is not the coach and he has said a lot about the Glazers.

United are 14th in the Premier League table following last night’s 2-0 defeat at Wolves.

Ruben Amorim was brought in last month to replace Erik ten Hag but results have been poor as the Portuguese picked up seven points in his first seven league games.

When asked about the situation at Old Trafford, Ronaldo told the Globe Soccer Awards: “(The) Premier League, it’s the most difficult league in the world.

“All the teams are good, all the teams are fighting, all the teams are running, all the teams are strong. Football is different now. No more simple games.

“I said this a year and a half ago, and I will continue to say: The problem is not the coaches, it’s like… I always give an example… it’s like a water park.

“If you have a fish in it and it gets sick and you take it out and fix the problem and put it back in the water, you will get sick again.”

“Manchester United’s problem is the same. The problem is not always the teacher. It is much more than that. “

I will change things – Ronaldo

When asked if he thought that was the current situation, he added: “100 percent. If I become a club owner, I will clearly explain and change the things that are not right there. “

And while he didn’t say he would one day be with Manchester United, Ronaldo said he would follow in the footsteps of Old Trafford legend David Beckham and play for a big club at some point.

Asked if he had spoken to the Glazers, he said: “I’m still very young and I have many goals and dreams for the future, but, mark my words, I will be the owner of a big team, for sure.”
