Computer programmer named ‘person of interest’ in murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO

A 26-year-old man, identified as Luigi Mangione, has been identified as a person of interest at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania. CNN cited an unnamed police official who saw the alleged manifesto, which included lines such as “These parasites were coming.” Another line was published by CNN is reading“I apologize for any confusion and trauma, but it had to be done.” The accuracy of those quotes cannot be independently verified by Gizmodo.
