happy birthday, Christina Aguilera!
The pop star Took to Instagram on Wednesday, December 18, to mark her 44th with a topless portrait. In the black-and-white photo, Aguilera strikes a sultry pose, crouched on the floor with her side facing the camera, her platinum blonde locks grazing her bare shoulders. She sports a black leather newsboy cap, black shorts, strappy heels and dramatic makeup.
“Birthday suit #44,” Aguilera captioned her post.
Naturally, her fans went wild in the comments section.
“Happy birthday, LEGENDTINA, the best singer in this f—ing world,” one fan gushed.
Another wrote: “Getting older in years, but younger in appearance is what I’m talking about!!!!”
Aguilera, who won five Grammys during her Y2K heyday, completed a nine-month Vegas residency in August. Three months later, she performed a surprising duet with Sabrina Nagar during the Nagar period Short Tour ‘N Sweet Concert in Los Angeles.
At the same time, Aguilera burst onto the scene, wearing a black bra and silver over-the-knee boots while belting out a vocal riff that kicked off a rendition of “Ain’t No Other Man.” Carpenter, 25, then joined her at center stage to complete the number, according to social media footage. They also sang “What a Girl Wants” by Aguilera.
In November, Aguilera shared a rare photo of her family of four Instagram. The “Genie in a Bottle” singer took a picture with her fiance, Matthew Rattlerand her two children, son Max, 16, and daughter Summer, 10. (Aguilera welcomed Max with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman in 2008 and shares a summer with Rattler, 39.)
“On the way to school the other day with her dad, (Summers) said, ‘When I grow up, I want to be mom’s photographer or mom’s manager.’ It’s so funny,” Aguilera said fashion earlier this year. “So we told Will.i.am That (when he came to see the show), and he was like, ‘Oh, my God, she’s your daughter.’ So Ben-Bat is the word of the year. It’s just so cute.”
Aguilera talked about her journey with the mothers in an interview with Haute Living in 2019, explains how she balances her family and career in order to create a stable life for her children.
“I made the decision for quite some time not to tour for a while because I thought it was the best thing to create a more stable and normal life for my kids,” she said at the time. “Even when I took the place (the voice), it wasn’t really something I wanted to pursue. I just decided, ‘This keeps me in Los Angeles and where I can focus on my kids.'”
She added, “Everything I’ve decided to do has been influenced by my kids, but at the same time, I have to make sure I don’t lose myself and that I always stay grounded in what’s important to me.”
