Chelsea’s transformation will continue under manager Enzo Maresca in the upcoming games.
The Blues managed to offload a number of players in the summer transfer window but their output is not over yet.
The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Raheem Sterling, Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah and others were allowed to leave the club as Maresca tried to rebuild his team at Stamford Bridge.
Clearly, things have gone well for the Italian manager at Chelsea and the fact that he is currently involved in the title race shows that the Blues boss made the right call.
Their recent win over Brentford in the Premier League has left them just two points behind leaders Liverpool.
According to MirrorChelsea have made Carney Chukwuemeka and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall available for transfer.
Chukwuemeka has played five games for the Blues this season and four of them have come in the Conference League.
Since his departure from Aston Villa, he has not been near the starting line-up on a regular basis.
With a Chelsea squad already blessed with midfielders, Chukwuemeka’s place in the lineup will be difficult going forward.
The same can be said of Dewsbury-Hall, who joined Chelsea alongside Maresca from Leicester City.
The manager and midfielder both teamed up to help Leicester get promoted to the Premier League but when Chelsea came calling, they refused.
It has worked for Maresca but not for Dewsbury-Hall who is now due to be shown the exit door at the club.
A loan move away from the club in January is possible for all players at the moment.
Having seen Maresca do a good job at the club so far, the club officials are ready to support the manager.
Another player who ended up leaving the Blues soon is defender Axel Disasi.
