On Saturday night, November 30th, at ACX1 Studios in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Swift Promotions Tale of Garcia 4’s main event was a short boxing match, as Quincey “Quiet Storm” Williams stopped Kevin Beltran Aguirre in the first round.
It was a short night of work for Williams, as the fighter’s introduction may have taken longer than it should have. Inside the circle, Williams was calm and composed as he made a patient stop.
The main event capped off another successful show promoted by Swift Promotions for two-time world champion Danny Garcia. Since officially launching in June 2024, Danny Garcia and Swift Promotions President Mike Farrell have provided a platform that has given talented boxers the opportunity to showcase their talents.
A native of Washington DC, Quincey Williams had a decorated career, as he was a 7-year National Champion and 2022 National Golden Gloves champion. He made his senior debut in January 2024 when he got to the left of the body and stopped Wilfredo Petit in the third row.
Williams would go on to win three more bouts, then, in late October, he signed with Swift Promotions. On the night of November 30th, undefeated rapper Quincey “Quiet Storm” Williams headlined the Swift Promotions Tale of Garcia 4.
When the bell rang for the first round, 21-year-old welterweight Quincey Williams quickly came out. His opponent, Kevin Beltran Aguirre, caused problems as he repeatedly tried to push forward and land a big right hand.
Williams connected with a solid left hook and became a front-to-back fighter. Williams went for a left to the body and a right to the head. Aguirre was looking for a way out, but Williams was doing a great job of cutting off the ring.
It was a quick test as Quincey Williams was landing a left hook and a right hand shot. Williams goes for a right, followed by a left to the body and then a left to the head. After being hit with a left uppercut, Aguirre fell to the canvas, but the two bodies had already done a lot of damage.
When the referee saw Aguirre kneeling in pain, he began to count, and before ten, he decided to stop the contest. Although it was short, Quincey Williams looked impressive as he scored the first stoppage to improve his record to (5-0, 5 KOs).
