Luke Grimes The cast seems to have cast a bit of a subtle tint Kevin Costner after the Yellowstone Lead chose not to appear in the second half of season 5.

Grimes, 40, was asked about his experience filming the fifth and final season of the hit Paramount Network drama during an interview with Esquire earlier this month and replied, “I hope everyone can see that the time has come.”

Many viewers came for Costner’s portrayal of family patriarch John Dutton, but stayed for the show’s other leads, including Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Gil Birmingham, Cole Hauser and Kelsey Asbill.

Grimes Not deterred From discussing his relationship with Costner recently. (Costner, 69, did not appear in the last half of season 2 amid reported tensions between him and the showrunner Taylor Sheridanwhich they both denied.)

“I haven’t spoken to him since (he left). It’s not a case of hard feelings or anything. It’s just, he’s Kevin Costner,” Grimes said MH Flex Men’s Health on Tuesday, December 17. “He’s a big deal. I have his phone number – I just don’t feel like it’s my place to contact him. He can contact me if he wants to.”

“None of us saw it coming the way it did, and obviously there was news about possible explosions behind the scenes or whatever,” he noted. “But just like life, man, these things happen, they happen fast, and they’re unpredictable.”

Grimes continued: “I lost my father a few years ago. It happened fast, and it wasn’t the way you would think it would happen. In life these things happen and then people have to start making decisions. And our little one Yellowstone The world, which helped increase the performance to boiling.”
