This is the beginning of a merry-go-round The holiday season for Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Britney Mahoms!
“Very happy,” wrote Brittany, 29, via Instagram On Saturday, December 14, photos are shared from the couple’s night at the Kansas City Chiefs Christmas party the night before.
Brittany, who is? Pregnant with the couple’s third babyShe looked chic and festive in a red dress with a turtleneck. She completed her ensemble with a gold handbag and leopard print stilettos.
For the glam, Britney wore her hair in a high ponytail secured at several different points, which later caused problems for 29-year-old Patrick.
“Is someone else’s husband going to pull his hair out and think he can just pull them right out of yours?” she joked in an Instagram Story video shared on Sunday, posting snaps of the tossed clear hairbands interspersed with strands of her locks. “Because, yes, mine did last night.”
The Chiefs quarterback, for his part, wore a striped Prada shirt and matching khaki pants from the brand for the festivities. In the photos, he wrapped an arm around Britney’s waist and smiled.
The Chiefs held their own Annual holiday meeting in Kansas City on Friday, December 13. The next day, the team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio for the Sunday, December 15 football game against the Browns. The Missouri-based team will next face the Houston Texans on December 21 and the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25, respectively.
In preparation for the “short weeks”, Patrick opened up his training routine.
“I think coach (Andy) Reed has a great plan going into this, so I’ll follow it and focus on that opponent,” Patrick said during a press conference earlier this week. “And then, going into another short week, and then, the one after that, I’ll focus on those opponents.”
Patrick further noted that he feels “excited play at christmas” later this month.
“But, you never want to play that amount of games in that short amount of time,” he added. “It’s just not great for your body, but at the end of the day, it’s your job. You have to come to work and do it.”
Throughout Patrick’s NFL season, Brittany and the couple’s children were sideline players. (They share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 20 months.)
“He doesn’t get nervous or stressed at all. It’s just what he likes to do,” Britney previously said of Game Days during an appearance in August on the “WHOOP” podcast.. “I think he likes going into a new week with new game plans, new challenges, having new people he’s playing.”
