Friday, the “Madame Web“The 27-year-old actress hit out at body shaming on social media after online trolls took aim at her appearance.
“Nothing to see here other than your average thick Yankee girl,” one user wrote.

“Too pale,” wrote another. “And he needs to lose a few pounds in the middle.”
Addressing critics directly, Sweeney… who recently showed off her stunning curves poolside in Florida after a blockbuster year that includes films like “Madame Web,” “Immaculate” and “Eden” — posted a Instagram video montage with a series of cruel comments about her appearance.

Towards the end of the video, Sweeney shared footage of herself working out at the gym, lifting heavy weights and training in a boxing ring.
At one point, the video cuts to a sign that says, “Don’t stop exiting.”
Many were quick to praise Sweeney’s applause.
“It’s always wild to see people publicly look like pieces of shit with comments like this,” wrote Lili Reinhart. “You look amazing and your dedication to your project is very inspiring.”
“Very bad,” added Kesha.
Sweeney’s latest role as professional boxer Christy Martin has left her unrecognizable. In a recent Instagram post, Sweeney posed in costume next to the real Martin with both raising their fists.

Throughout the rest of the caption, Sweeney thanked the film’s cast and crew, later adding that she’s excited for audiences to “be presented with a story as powerful as the woman who lived it.”
