Chelsea won their last Europa Conference League match, beating FC Astana 3-1.
The Blues traveled with a weakened team to Kazakhstan but had more than enough to take the three points.
Marc Guiu grabbed the first two goals for the visitors, the first with an impressive solo effort that ended up in the back of the net.
He was at it again five minutes later, grabbing a cross and beating the Astana keeper this time.
Renato Veiga scored an own goal before half-time, but Astana pulled one back to add to the challenge of the game.
However, the result was never in doubt as Chelsea closed out the second half.

It started early as Chelsea’s young squad wasted no time in proving themselves.
In the 14th minute, 18-year-old Marc Guiu opened the scoring with a fine solo effort. Driving in from the right, Guiu got past Marochkin before calmly slotting the ball past Seisen for his third European goal of the season.
Chelsea extended their lead just four minutes later.
Pedro Neto, happy on the wing, delivered a low cross into the box after beating Vorogovsky.
Guiu pounced on the ball, forcing his own goal from Astana’s Aleksandr Marochkin. Despite being identified as Guiu, the strike ensured Chelsea’s early pressure.
Astana, struggling to find their rhythm, managed to push forward but rarely threatened Chelsea’s defence.
Their first half xG of 0.08 shows their difficulty creating clear chances.
Meanwhile, Chelsea continued to press hard and were rewarded in the 39th minute. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall floated in a right corner that found Renato Veiga unmarked, allowing the midfielder to head home for Chelsea’s third goal.
Despite Chelsea’s dominance, Astana pulled a goal back before half time.

Captain Marin Tomasov provided a moment of brilliance, going past Veiga on the edge of the box and curling a stunning shot to the left to make it 3-1. It was very impressive for the Kazakh side, whose efforts were limited.
The second half saw Astana come out with a big goal, boosted by Tomasov’s goal.
He made several dangerous saves, including a long-range strike from Tomasov that Chelsea keeper Jorgensen had to clear.
Chelsea brought on new legs in the second half, including 18-year-old Ato Ampah, as they looked to dominate the game and maintain their lead.
Carney Chukwuemeka and Harvey Vale provided the energy in the middle of the game, but chances were few and far between as the game wore on.
In the end, Chelsea’s early dominance proved too much for Astana to overcome.
