Suicide Squad gets (and tries for) one last speed bump

Things have been a little strange for Death Squad in the last decade 2016 movie Received a lukewarm response, later projects with the anti-hero team were erratic 2021 movie generally considered quite good and that anime looked good since the beginning of this year, but fans of the DCEU have been hoping for a director David Ayer’s original vision see the light of day with “Ayer Cut” when you’re done with Rocksteady’s video games Suicide Squad. Kill the Justice League was one of the biggest mistakes of the year.

Somehow, both the game and the 2016 movie came back into the spotlight this week.First, Rocksteady finally confirmed that Deathstroke will be joining Squad list this Tuesday, December 10. DC Assassin will be in the game A fourth character following the Joker, Ms. Freeze and Deadshot’s daughter Lawless, and the question is whether more will join them over the summer, WB Games has revealed IGN: Rocksteady would see Suicide Squad Year 1 content roadmap, but then danced around everything developmental issues and the underperformance has been pretty well documented, and it’s also been said that Rocksteady is aiming for a single-player remake, so Slade could be the last villain to join. As for the movie, then. Ayer recently reiterated his hope for his original Suicide Squad publish to the public. He told his fans at X how much he appreciates the “continued support and interest” and that he “just hasn’t seen the best version. If you don’t like (theatrical cut), here’s a chance to see what I’m really about aim, and then judge when you have all the information.” He accepted its release chances are out of his hands and entirely up to WB and James Gunn, however, he insisted that should can be seen, mainly on the grounds that it would be “a lot of fun” for fans of his work who are still oblivious to what has played in theaters.

“If this happens, cool. If it doesn’t freeze, it’s just not that deep,” he said concluded in response “I think you deserve to see it and judge it. If it’s not for you, that’s fine.”

It’s currently unknown what future Suicide Squad has as a brand, and DC doesn’t even currently have one. hosts a new comic for the team. They’ll probably still get attention, but the Harley, Boomerang, King Shark and Deadshot team-up made popular with the New 52 and 2016 movies is probably done for now. It’s only a matter of time we’ll see who the next group head is and what strange missions they end up on.
