Goo Baek-jung (Ahn Jae-hong) quickly graces the viewer with his playful presence, and he has the bright yellow pants to prove it. Go Baek-joong may work in a machine shop, but his true passion is pop music, much to the chagrin of his stern but fair boss, Choi Sun-man (Ryu Sung-ryong). The day-to-day operations of the machine shop, more than machines, are ambiguous at best as we don’t need to get bogged down in the details, but still need a home base of operations for our avian-chasing avian heroes.
When a machine of unknown origin mysteriously appears on More than Machines, Chicken nuggets The conflict turns out to be the sun. Choi Sun-man’s daughter Choi Min-ah (Kim Yoo-jung) visits the store with a box of chicken nuggets from Chikn Nuggit, a popular spot in the area known for its super-tasty mechanically separated meat dishes. Although it’s painfully obvious that Goo Baek-jung is head over heels in love with Choi Min-ah, his misguided displays of affection are often overlooked.
Choi Min-ah jumps into the machine, and Chicken nugget showing his name as she turned into a lump of chicken herself. To Goo Baek-jung’s horror, he now has to explain to her father what happened, which is naturally met with disbelief. After some serious deliberation, the only conclusion to be reached is that Cho Min-ah has effectively become a helpless lump of chicken, and it’s up to Go Baek-joong and Chi Seon-man to bring Choi Min-ah back. Her human self.
