Following a difficult start to the season under the new manager Julen Lopetegui, West Ham United they are said to want to sign a Champions League winner who can arrive at a low price.
The Hammers splashed the cash in the summer transfer window, bringing in Crysencio Summerville, Max Kilman and Jean-Clair Todibo. But it was unsuccessful in Lopetegui’s first campaign in charge and it is only in recent weeks that he has started to save his career after facing many difficulties.
The Hammers have also been linked with names such as Massimiliano Allegribut it looks like those at the London Stadium are stuck with their summer decision for now.
Following the games against Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion and the victory of Wolverhampton Wanderers to make it three games unbeaten, the idea makes sense so far.
With Lopetegui’s job seemingly safe for now, the Hammers now look set to focus on the January transfer window and could secure a deal.
According to Spanish reports, West Ham have been interested in signing Hakim Ziyech In the January transfer window, the Galatasaray winger could terminate his contract with the Turkish giants to become a free agent next month.
In what could be a free contract, West Ham could welcome Ziyech back Premier League just six months after he left London regulars Chelsea.

A move that would steal the headlines, could be worth the gamble for those at the London Stadium. With Ziyech aged 31 and now past the peak of his powers, the possibility of securing the player’s signature without breaking the bank is one the Hammers cannot turn down.
If they need further motivation to pursue Ziyech’s signature, then the Moroccan could return to trouble the Londoners Chelsea should help improve. The Galatasaray winger also brings a lot to the table, having won the Champions League when Chelsea beat Manchester City in the 2021 final. And that experience could be valuable for a number of sides.
In the end, Ziyech endured a mix-up at Stamford Bridge and one that ended with a hit more than anything else. However, after his success, the ex-Ajax man was highly praised by the former manager Thomas Tuchelwho told reporters via The Independent in 2021: “The ideas he brought here were ideas to grow and show humanity, and that’s what he did.
“He was fantastic from day one. He was decisive in every friendly game we played and he did well in the first competitive game, the final against Villarreal.”
