Harry Kane returned after nearly three weeks out from injury as Bayern hosted RB Leipzig on Friday – but Jamal Musiala stole the show with a minute-long goal.
England captain Kane was involved in the opener with a pass to Michael Olise, who set up Musiala for his fourth goal in four close games.
Leipzig were behind after 60 seconds when Lois Openda rose in space and crossed for Benjamin Sesko to score.
The equalizer became the first time in the history of the German top flight that two teams scored in the first two minutes of the match.

Bundesliga top-scorer Kane missed three league games and one in the Champions League with a hamstring problem and his absence was felt in Bayern’s 2-1 defeat at Mainz on Saturday – their first league loss since Vincent Kompany was appointed manager in May. .
There was no need for Kane to restore Bayern’s early lead against Leipzig, as former Red Bulls midfielder Konrad Laimer completed a one-on-one with Olise to put them back in front after 25 minutes.
Laimer’s first goal of the competition was his second in three games in a 5–1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on 10 December.
As if inspired to recall their most successful player, Bayern then added a third honor to Joshua Kimmich.
The German midfielder hit a 25-yarder in the 36th minute, ending a year-long wait to score a league goal in stunning fashion.

Kane has 19 goals in 17 Bundesliga and Champions League games in 2024/25, but the 31-year-old may have shown his acrimony at the chance after three minutes, scoring against the likes of goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.
Bayern started the evening four points ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen on goal difference after 14 games for both teams.
Marco Rose’s Leipzig have won their last two league games and knew a win would send them second, three points behind Bayern.
