It didn’t take long Kayla Nicole and Brody Jenner create a – ahem – special bond on the set of Special forces: the toughest test in the world Season 3.
“I think pooping next to each other in open spaces really creates a really deep bond,” Nicole, 32, exclusively said Us Weekly While talking about the upcoming season of the Fox reality show. Jenner, 41, added with a laugh: “She got my back every time I had to put down a sheep.”
Nicole and Jenner are two of the 16 celebrities who will undergo a series of grueling challenges similar to special forces training in the show’s third season, which premieres on Wednesday, January 8. As the cast is pushed to their physical and mental limits, only a handful will emerge from the competition stronger than ever.
“When you get stripped like that, I mean you don’t have anything else on,” Nicole said us of the photography experience. “You don’t have your family, you don’t have your friends, you don’t have your phones, you don’t have social media. There’s no way to disconnect. You have no choice but to connect. And luckily it was a cast full of amazing, dumb people that we were able to connect with. I Really grateful.”
Jenner doubled down on her kind comments, calling his friends “phenomenal.” He added: “The camaraderie that goes through these team challenges because it’s not a competition. You’re not there to compete against each other. You’re there to get to know each other and help each other, motivate each other and just try to get to the end.”
Jenner went on to win over former NFL stars Golden Tate and Cam Newton For helping to keep things light on set despite the difficult conditions. “There were just funny people there and there was just such diversity and we got lucky. We really did,” he stated.
Nicole said us that she joined the show to prove to herself that she’s “dangerous to everything I pay attention to,” including facing a new fear. “I wasn’t aware that I had a fear of heights until the show,” she revealed. “I love roller coasters. I can do all those things, but there’s something about jumping off a bridge over land (that) scares me. I can jump out of a helicopter into water every day. I loved those missions. But for whatever reason, put me on a bridge over Earth is still and I’m freezing.”
Jenner, meanwhile, said it was necessary to leave his fiancee, Tia BlancoAnd her 16-month-old daughter, Honey, was “one of the hardest parts” of him special forces journey. (The couple They welcomed their first child together in July 2023.)
“Tia is the best mom ever, so I knew I was well looked after,” he said. “So, knowing that I have an amazing support team at home and they’re going to be fine, and to go out there and try to get the job done, it’s been great.”
